Short version: the only personal information we collect is the email address you give us to hear about the launch. No accounts, no cookies, no tracking, no ads, and we never sell anything about you.
Who we are
QEBLi Games runs qebli.com. The person in charge of protecting personal information is our founder. You can reach them at privacy@qebli.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for news, we collect your email address and the date you signed up (or unsubscribed). We use the language of the page you signed up from to write to you in that language.
That's it. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking pixels or ads. Fonts, images and everything else are served from our own servers, so no third party sees your visit. The arcade on Qebli's screen keeps your high scores and saved games in your browser's local storage: they never leave your device, and clearing your browser data for qebli.com erases them. Like any website, our server may briefly keep technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
To send you a welcome email with Qebli's secret code, and news about QEBLi Games: the launch, new games and the odd surprise. Nothing else. We never sell, rent or trade your information.
Your consent
You give your consent by entering your email address and pressing the signup button. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to us. We stop emailing you right away.
Who else handles it
Only the service providers that help us run the newsletter, under agreements that require them to protect it: Resend, which delivers our emails from servers in the United States, and our hosting provider. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Québec and Canada.
How long we keep it
As long as you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address and the date, to prove your consent and make sure you're never emailed again. You can ask us to delete it completely at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, by writing to privacy@qebli.com. We'll answer within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you live in the European Union, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
Kids
The newsletter isn't meant for children under 14. If you're under 14, ask a parent before signing up.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. If it's a big change, we'll tell subscribers by email first.
